Sen. Roger Marshall to Introduce 'FAUCI Act' After Skirmish at Hearing

Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) plans to enact the “FAUCI Act” after much debate with Drs. Anthony Fauci at a Senate meeting this week on the findings of a senior medical consultant.

Senator spokesman he tells and Hill Thursday that Marshall is drafting Accountability for Uniquely Compensate Individuals (FAUCI) Act because “Fauci’s records were not readily available to the public,” the report said.

The law requires the Office of Government Ethics (OGE) page to provide financial statements for “supervisors like Fauci” and a list of government officials whose financial records are not publicly available.

This comes after Marshall pressured Fauci into his statement Tuesday, when the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases was furious, saying the documents were publicly available, insisting that Marshall “had not been notified.” At the end of the exchange, a hot mic caught Fauci saying, “What a moron. Jesus Christ.” Fauci, who is also the chief medical advisor to the President, is he says the highest paid employee in the entire United States government.

The next day, Marshall sent Fauci a letter requesting that he explain Fauci’s finances by January 14 at 5:00 pm In a letter, Marshall pointed to a reports from Forbes Assistant Adam Andrzejewski. In an article entitled “No, Fauci’s Notes Are Not Available Online. Why Does NIH Not Release Immediately? Andrzejewski wrote that the NIH did not provide a number of documents requested through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), including interest disclosure, financial disclosure, and royalties.

Andrzejewski directs, which is suing NIH to produce the documents. According to its report, the NIH has about 1,200 pages of Fauci’s financial information and interest rates, and has agreed to issue 300 pages per month from 1 Feb.

Marshall also said his several requests for more information from Fauci’s office “have taken months to respond or are still successful.”
