MALAGA, Sevilla and Valencia are Spanish cities where house prices soared in 2021.
This is according to a study by UK estate agent Knight Frank, who surveyed real estate markets in 150 cities around the world.
The report shows that Malaga is up 7.6%, Sevilla (3.9%) and Valencia (3.4%) are leading Spain.
However, this increase is far from the average 10% increase in surveyed cities around the world.
Three Spanish cities have 83, 115 and 119 titles respectively.
The other two Spanish cities surveyed, Madrid and Barcelona, increased by 2.9% and 1.3%, making them 121 and 136 respectively.
The Turkish city of Izmir (34.6%) and the New Zealand city of Wellington (33.5%) showed the highest rate worldwide.
In contrast, Kuala Lumpur (-5.7%), Venice (-5.3%) and Genoa (-3.9%) record falls on house prices.
