God of War is Sony's biggest, highest-rated Steam launch

Clearly there is a huge desire for PlayStation only on PC. You no longer need to look at numbers to achieve this, but they do a great job of proving the point. After a successful start to Horizon Zero Dawn, and Days Gone, there was little chance God of War – no doubt the best of the three – will not do a better job.

God of War PC PC, which was released on Friday, January 14, is now the most stable Steam launch of Sony. The game attracted 73,529 players simultaneously in the peak, enough to put it in the top ten at a time. This is much higher than Horizon Zero Dawn’s 56,557 peak at one time, and so on Days Gone’s few (compared) 27,450 peak.

A number of Steam reviews also provide a similar picture. The God of War has Very good comment, or 97% positive, based on reviews of 9,095 users in just a few days. In comparison, Horizon Zero Dawn just ran a Very good votes, or 84% positive, based on 51,266 reviews. The last days are indeed better votes, at 91% (yet Very Good) based on 19,821 user reviews.

Many comments by users of the God of War address some of the issues we discussed in our article PC technical review. Factors such as the lack of FOV download, full image support, AA dedicated response are just a few. That said, the God of War PC game is also the best of all three games, and has no problem talking about it – with the exception of the Intel 12th Gen CPU bug that prevents the game from restarting the GPU on board. allowed – something there is already a test patch.

It is worth remembering that all three of these games are also available on the Epic Games Store, meaning that the PC players have to be bigger, which only indicates that they will be released later. The next PlayStation to be released for PC is Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, which includes Uncharted 4, and Uncharted: Lost Legacy. It doesn’t have a solid release date, but it should be in our hands this year.
