Danni looked stunning in a long blue dress as she posed with both her mum and dad in Edinburgh.

She wrote on Instagram: “An evening that made me so proud to be Scottish.

“It’s safe to say I cried my eyes out. Totally blown away by all the incredible people that were awarded.

“You’re an inspiration.”

Danni, 33, revealed in February that she had decided to quit A Place in the Sun.

“I’ve done it for six years and it’s about time for a change and there were quite a few things that were hard to do when I was doing the show, like having a relationship.”
