First Trailer and Images released for White Bird: A Wonder Story in cinemas on 14 October


We have some more trailer news courtesy of Lionsgate today as they have released the first look trailer and a collection of images for the upcoming movie White Bird which will be in cinemas on the 14th of October.

In White Bird: A Wonder Storykindness even has the power to save lives, as Wonder‘s Julian Albans (Bryce Gheisar), Auggie’s antagonizing classmate who left Beecher Prep, is visited by his Grandmère (Helen Mirren) from Paris and is transformed by her remarkable and unforgettable story of compassion and courage.

As a girl in Nazi-occupied France, the young Grandmère goes into hiding with the help of a schoolmate, a young man who risks everything to give her a chance to survive. Together, they find beauty and love in the secret world of their own creation.

From Marc Forster, the director of Finding Neverland and Christopher Robinand based on RJ Palacio’s book, White Birdlike Wonder before it, is an emotional story about the ways that even in the most harrowing circumstances, empathy for others can make every difference in the world.

The movie stars Ariella Glaser, Orlando Schwerdt, Bryce Gheisar with Gillian Anderson (Sex Education, The X-Files) and Helen Mirren (Gosford Park, RED), and is directed by Marc Foster (World War Z, Finding Neverland). Lionsgate presents in association with Participant, a Lionsgate / Mandeville Films production in association with 2DUX2 Productions.
